Which of the GOP’s 2018 governors has the highest approval rating?

By The Associated Press | August 26, 2019 06:03:59President Donald Trump, Republican governors and the American people are overwhelmingly in favor of a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act, according to a new poll from The Hill.

The Hill poll found that 51 percent of Americans say they support a bill that would end the federal government’s role in covering health insurance for all Americans.

The poll found the president has the support of 57 percent of Republicans, while governors have the support from 49 percent.

Only 13 percent of Democrats said they support the legislation.

The House passed the AHCA, a $1.1 trillion repeal-and-replace measure, in early June, and Senate Republicans are currently in the process of crafting their own version of the bill.

The House is expected to vote on its own version this week.

President Trump has long been the most popular GOP leader in the country, and many lawmakers, including Republicans, are worried that the AHC will lead to a repeat of the failed AHCA and that Trump will become the Republican Party’s most unpopular president.
